The Gibson Les Paul is
probably the most famous electric guitar model of all
time. It was created by Les Paul, who essentially invented the solid body electric guitar and made guitar music a popular genre. Gibson first introduced the Les Paul in 1952 and since nearly every famous rock guitarist
has a used the Les Paul.
This one is a Gibson Custom Shop re-issue of the classic
sunburst 1959 Standard
flame top model which I purchased in 1998 and is signed by Les Paul to me. It remains my favorite solid
body electric. |
