Keith Emerson and Greg Lake kicked off their “Intimate Evening” US Tour to great fan and critical acclaim, prompting the addition of three new dates to the tour, which claimed six SOLD-OUT shows at the tour’s inception.

Audiences can expect new perspectives as well as reinvented arrangements of classic favorites. Interaction with the audience and each other are integral to the show as Emerson and Lake discuss some of their most creative compositions and tell some stories.

Audiences are delighted with the evening’s mix of music, anecdotes, questions and answers. Emerson and Lake’s affection for each other and for their fans is obvious as they chat, laugh, and take questions from the audience while providing a memorable show.

Positive reviews were on the internet minutes after the first show finished. “The crowd loved it and so did I,” said one concert attendee. “I was impressed with Greg Lake’s voice, and impressed to finally hear his bass parts. I was equally impressed with Emerson’s untarnished abilities as a player and arranger,” said a reviewer. Both passionate fans and these incredibly talented musicians look forward to continued success as they perform across the USA in April and May.

The tour kicked off with sold out shows in Maryland, New York, Montreal, and Massachussetts. The tour sweeps across all corridors of North America. Among the dates have been major venues in NYC, Boston, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Says Greg, “Both Keith and I are extraordinarily gratified by the enthusiasm of the fans and we expect to continue to enjoy meeting them throughout the balance of the tour.” Keith concurs: “This is a format we’ve never attempted before and it is great fun to be able to tell a few stories and answer questions as well as play the music we love so much.”

While many venues are sold out, a few good seats are still available.
