Brett Morgan

A brief rundown of my professional career:

I have been very fortunate in my career, working with many different artists. Most of my early experiences were gigging with different bands, one of which I stayed with for five years and absolutely loved, named 'Jody Street', a hard jazz/rock outfit.

I was living in America after this, for 18 months with a new band in Miami. I got into studio/session work at an early stage and by chance really; my father was a very busy drummer working with a lot of artists that I was lucky enough to grow up with, hence my introduction to sessions. Some of the people I have worked with on albums and tracks are listed:

Jon Anderson [Yes], Uriah Heep, Joni Mitchell, Emma Bunton, Westlife, S Club 7, Freddie Mercury, Cliff Richard, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Atomic Rooster, Dave Grusin, Jerry Goldsmith, George Harrison, Paul Carrack, Lisa Stansfield, Elton John, and Sting.

My father, Barry Morgan, introduced me to the business. He is also a drummer and owned Morgan Studios. He is well known throughout the business and is still my greatest influence, although Stevie Wonder may be another!

I suppose my roots are mainly rock based, although I play and appreciate many different types and styles of music.
